Emergency Room (24/7)

Adult and paediatric emergency, open around the clock

Structured triage, round-the-clock radiology and lab support and an ambulance service integrated with 112.

Covered by insurance and SGK

Our emergency room is open 24 hours a day, every day. Every patient who walks in is assessed by a trained triage nurse using a colour-coded system; those in life-threatening condition go straight to the treatment room without waiting.

What we offer

  • Separate treatment areas for adult and paediatric emergencies
  • Digital X-ray, ultrasound and 24/7 CT inside the emergency unit
  • Time-targeted protocols for stroke and heart attack (door-to-needle and door-to-balloon)
  • Fully equipped ambulances and patient transfer

When should you come?

For chest pain, sudden shortness of breath, loss of consciousness, sudden speech difficulty or facial droop, uncontrolled bleeding, febrile convulsions and serious trauma, call 112 or come straight to our emergency room. Insurance and SGK authorisation can be completed afterwards for emergency patients; treatment starts first.
