Cardiology

Our cardiology department diagnoses and treats heart and vascular disease together with a 24/7 angiography laboratory. For patients arriving with chest pain, our door-to-balloon target is under 60 minutes.

Exercise testing, echocardiography, and 24-hour rhythm and blood pressure Holter monitoring can be done on the same day in the outpatient clinic. The interventional team performs coronary angiography, stenting, pacemaker and ablation procedures; patients needing heart surgery are reviewed by a joint board with cardiovascular surgery.

Our preventive cardiology programme, run by a cardiologist, dietitian and exercise physiologist, helps control risk factors such as cholesterol, hypertension and diabetes.
