Intensive Care Units

32-bed adult, coronary and neonatal intensive care

Single rooms, a 24/7 intensivist, central monitoring and a low infection rate.

Daily care covered by insurance

Our intensive care units consist of three separate sections—general adult, coronary and tertiary-level neonatal—with 32 beds in total. Each bed is in a single isolation room equipped with a ventilator and invasive monitoring.

Team and working order

A duty intensivist is in the unit day and night, with one nurse for every three patients. Doctors, nurses, a clinical pharmacist and a dietitian set patient-specific goals during daily rounds.

Communication with families

  • Briefings twice a day
  • 24/7 access for parents in the neonatal unit
  • Status updates by text message (with family consent)

Our infection rate is among the quality indicators we publish regularly and is below the national average.

Safety and infection control

Hand hygiene, and gowns where needed, are mandatory before entering the units. Bedside care follows catheter and ventilator care bundles; infection rates are shared with the unit team every month and improvement targets are set. You can get information about admission to intensive care and the visiting arrangement from our patient coordinator.
