Emergency Medicine

The emergency medicine department exists to act without losing time in life-threatening situations. The triage nurse classifies every patient by colour code, and a doctor and nurse team stands ready for patients taken to the red area.

Digital X-ray, ultrasound and CT are located inside the emergency unit; laboratory results for urgent tests are ready within 45 minutes. In-house alert codes for heart attack, stroke and major trauma, and the response times of the relevant specialists, are predefined.

Our ambulance service works integrated with the 112 system. Authorisation is obtained from emergency patients after treatment has started.

Booking and preparation

Lead physician: Acil tıp uzmanları ekibi. You can book online or reach the department secretary on extension 2000. No appointment is needed in emergencies; patients are admitted directly at the door. Bring your ID, previous test results and a list of your medicines to the first visit.
