Internal Medicine

The internal medicine department is the first stop and coordination centre for common adult health problems. Patients with fatigue, weight loss, high blood pressure or blood sugar complaints are assessed in a detailed first consultation.

For diabetes, thyroid, liver, kidney and rheumatic diseases, your doctor draws on endocrinology, gastroenterology, nephrology and rheumatology subspecialists when needed. Patients are enrolled in a chronic disease follow-up programme so that medication, lab and diet checks are planned on one calendar.

Age-appropriate check-ups and vaccination counselling (flu, pneumonia, shingles) are also run from this department.
