MRI, CT, mammography, ultrasound and interventional radiology.
The radiology department is at the heart of the diagnostic process with a 3 Tesla MR, two multi-slice CT scanners, digital mammography, ultrasound and bone density equipment. All studies go to a digital archive, and patients and doctors can access images through a secure link.
To minimise radiation dose, CT protocols follow the low-dose principle; patients who may be pregnant must tell staff before the examination. The interventional radiology team performs image-guided biopsy, drainage and vascular embolisation.
Reports are prepared by a specialist radiologist; a second radiologist's opinion is routine in complex cases. The average wait for a booked examination is one working day.
Lead physician: Uzm. Dr. Gülcan Erim. You can book online or reach the department secretary on extension 2111. The average wait for an appointment is 1 day; same-day examination is arranged in urgent cases. Bring your ID, previous test results and a list of your medicines to the first visit.
