Urology

Our urology department offers diagnosis and treatment of kidney stones, prostate enlargement, urinary incontinence, male reproductive health and urinary tract cancers. Shock-wave lithotripsy (ESWL) and laser endoscopic stone treatment are performed with same-day discharge.

Patients who do not respond to medication for an enlarged prostate are offered laser and minimally invasive surgery. For patients with a raised PSA, prostate MRI and fusion biopsy reduce unnecessary biopsies.

Urodynamic testing and pelvic floor rehabilitation for male and female incontinence are carried out in the department.
